The bifurcated imaging fiber has a standard SMA connector at the common end so that it can be plugged into OASIS Implant without modification. The fiber splits into two smaller fibers (legs) which can be connected to two separate head mounts on the same animal or on two different animals. Each leg has a SMA connector termination.
